Bridebook is the best free all-in-one pick for UK couples whose biggest job is finding a venue and suppliers: the directory, checklist, budget, guest list, RSVPs and website cost nothing. The trade-off is that suppliers pay for visibility, there is no seating chart, and some users report slowness and disruptive redesigns. Outside the UK, its directory is much less useful.

Privacy: what happens to your data?
Couples' details go to a supplier when the couple sends an enquiry or brochure request, and the privacy policy (last updated May 2018) promises express opt-in consent before sharing personal data with any other company for marketing; it lists advertising providers used for retargeting. But the business runs on supplier advertising: paying venues get more visibility and can use 'Couple Targeting', which matches them to couples based on budget, year, season and weekday. The site uses advertising pixels (e.g. Facebook), and the Google Play data-safety label says the app may share personal info with third parties.
